G.I. JOE: Rise of the Cobra (Trailer, Quiz, Games and more!)

I’m excited ^^ … The Hollywood version of G.I. Joe is going to be released in cinemas worldwide very soon! If you are a guy, you have probably heard of G.I. Joe or maybe even own a G.I Joe figurine like I used to. To the girls reading this, think macho version of your Barbie dolls heh.

When I was a kid, I used to buy G.I Joe figurines and play them with my neighbours and cousins, sometimes together with my ninja turtle and transformer toys. Too bad my mum either threw or gave away all my old toys, or else I would be able to take pictures of some of these plastic heroes. If you are much younger than me and maybe play Ben Ten or Avatar toys instead let me show you a wonderful commercial in the 1990s of some of the G.I Joe toys.

I miss those days …

There was also the G.I Joe cartoon which I liked and watched every week. I think I bought the G.I Joe animate movie VHS tape (do you know what this is? lol) too! Though I have forgotten much of the plot now, there are 3 things I remember: Yo Joe! Cobra la la la la la and my favourite character Snake Eyes. That is why I put him in the post header pic heh.

Got to get though, Yo Joe!! I love most of the old cartoons and I’m glad they are making their way to the big screen.

So what’s this new G.I Joe movie about …

Synopsis: Paramount Pictures and Hasbro, whose previous collaboration was the worldwide blockbuster “TRANSFORMERS,” join forces with Spyglass Entertainment for another extraordinary action-adventure, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.” From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite G.I. JOE team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos. “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” is directed by Stephen Sommers (“The Mummy,” “The Mummy Returns”).

Who are in it?

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung Hun Lee, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Saïd Taghmaoui, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid

Awesome Trailer that got me all excited again like a kid in Toys “R” Us

Are you as excited as me?!?! Let’s all get through this torturous wait by exploring these interesting stuff provided by Paramount at the G.I Joe official website.

After doing the quiz over and over again, I finally got full marks!

Things I did this week

Movies

He's Just Not That Into You - Not bad .. but why so little of my fav Drew Barrymore?? Ginnifer Goodwin is cute.

Marley and Me - Had to keep use my fingers to wipe off my tears during the show. Really sad show especially if you had a dog who just passed away.

Games

Guitar Heroes World Tour - Shawn brought the whole set (guitar, drum, mic) to my house to play! Can you believe that its my first time playing guitar heroes?!!? Really enjoyed playing it, considering weather to get my own set. Wayne is going to post unglam photos of our guitar heroes experience on facebook ... damn.

Street Fighter 4 - Bought it last week. Didn't get to play it much. Love the gameplay and graphics. The intro is very nice! Very Stylo sia. The song is corny but cool.

Why Can't I control??

Oh man, yesterday I did something I promised not to do and I really regretted doing it. If only I had more will power, if only I could resist the temptation. Why can others control this urge but I can't. I'm so disappointed with myself, during my group meeting last night, I ordered a large set of onion rings! Why must we meet at Burger King!

I thought I could control the urge but the sight of people eating and the smell of the food around me was too tempting. To make matters worse I even had supper after watching movie! Half a bowl of porridge, siew mai and Ching Chong Fun!!!! Oh man don't think I will lose any weight this week since today (Sat) and tom are eat anything for lunch and dinner day he he .... must stick to the plan :p

If you missed my diet plan post refer here. Will update you my weight on Tuesday when I have my weekly weigh ins :( ... not very optimistic about it.

By the way the movie I watched was the wedding game (starring Fann Wong & Christopher Lee) which honestly speaking is not really nice. If you guys haven watch it yet, I think better not watch it :p. Can hear some "bu hao kan" from other movie goers after the show.

Last but not least, I think I found a secret weapon which will aid me in my weight loss scheme. Will tell you about it next week!

Onion Rings, definitely not the secret weapon

"Must think of what I can do with the money and endure"
Boliao Words of Wisdom

Yesterday went to watch movie and cycle at east coast with emily the bee(new nick..dun pinch me hor) =D ... was late cause I didn't expect to take so long making the chawanmushi ... sorrie ah. Watched big momma's house 2 which was quite funny but i still prefer the pink panther hehe, but big momma also not bad la, around 3 and a half popcorn(out of 5). After movie took 31 to east coast and spent the longest time I had under the sun since my bmt days in the army. Cause we dropped quite far away from east coast park, we had to walk super far under the super duper hot sun to the bicycle shop.

Thank you bee for giving me the strength to walk so long under the sun, I wouldn't have made it without you :) .... felt really proud after completing the hot sun walk and was rewarded with a cool bicycle ride... by the time we started cycling, the weather was not so hot and the sea breeze was shiok :) thats why I like cycling in the beach. After cycling, we ate dinner at a coffee shop(i think) and i get to experience something very familiar.... bee was carefully taking out the tau gays(like so gay) and some other stuff in her laksa and carefully placing the noodles on the spoon to enjoy her meal, I think that is so me! lol ... her hand also shivers when she holds the spoon... same same hehe... she calls it the maple syndrome lol ..

After that i went to play pool with Alvin and got thrashed at 8 ball but won 9 ball :) but i lost the keep the ball cum tortoise match heh. Must enjoy myself before the start of 2 hellish weeks. Tuesday I will start my work and the first thing I have to do is set up the place, which I hate doing but no choice money rules lol. Must think of what I can do with the money and endure..

Movie and carelessness

Wed, went to watch the free movie with philip with the tics I won, got to see Arron kwok(short), Gallon Lo(dun look as tall as show) and Lee Sin Jie(Chio). Before the movie start they talk some cock then movie start liao.... movie not bad story quite nice but the guy beside me got sweat smell cannot really concentrate watching the movie hehe....... after the movie realised that alot of people had a paper bag with 2 big posters in them....how come I dun have ah ?!?!?! Must be some kiasu Singaporean take mine ... sian

After Movie went for car ride in philip's car, went to fetch Alvin first then went ar......sian man, alot of places kenna raid nothing much to see, no geylang girls and changi girls....err i mean guys....or isit girls.....actually some of them really chio, just dun talk can liao hehe.......went to outside haunted changi hospital n pee also, we no torch light so dun dare to go in I think, or maybe only me dun dare :p .....

Today(actually yesterday) when I go to gym, suddenly realised that I lost my Matric card...sian man, went to one stop centre to ask for replacement, but they say need to report police and get police report first....super mah fan ah!!!! Then must walk under the super hot Singapore sun to the police station, by the time I reach there I think I super smelly, gym sweat plus under the sun sweat....i pity the policemen in the police station and the people in the bus set home hehe. I think next week than I show the police report to them, abit lazy.

Later today must go for my John Little Orientation liao hehe....hope everything will be okay....
