My American Idol Favorites at the moment

This season of American Idol is better than ever! I really enjoyed watching the talented singers sing their way through to the top 36. Although the usual really lousy singers who either were trying to be funny or really think they are good (oh my god!) are getting a little lame, the emotions captured when each contestant go through to the Hollywood rounds are further are priceless and always put a smile on my face and maybe a tear or two ... I really love seeing happy people especially those around me! Maybe that's what I love about American Idol, seeing normal people fulfilling their dreams. Don't think I have the same determination to chase my dreams as the contestants in the show so I might as well cheer for those who are trying so hard.

With the new judge Kara, i I think things are going to get more interesting on the live shows, more girls mean more disagreements with Simon! I think she is normally nice but sometimes mean, especially towards bikini girl who I feel is actually a nice girl inside? I loved the moment when she kissed Ryan Seacrest and they played "I kissed a girl" in the background ... Hilarious!

So now that the top 36 are revealed who are your favorites? While you are thinking, let me reveal to you my current favorites (Based on what American Idol wants me to see). For those who have not gotten as much air time as the others maybe I will support them after hearing more of their singing in the coming rounds. Who knows, maybe there might be another "make your hair stand" performance coming out of nowhere by one of these contestants, like David Cooke's rendition of Billy Jean and Blake Lewis's You Give Love a Bad Name. Really hope there would be one or more inspiring performances.

Okay enough of my crap, here are my favorites so far (in alphabetical order):

Adam Lambert

During the group rounds I was really impressed when he hit the high notes. This guy has a great voice and is good looking too, I'm sure he will have many fans.

The first time I hear his voice I was like wow. Potential top 3 in this season's American Idol.

Despite the commotion during the group stages I still like her heh. She is blond, beautiful and have a good voice. Seems like she was in another Singing competition.

Contestants who did not make it which I will miss: Bikini girl =) , Jamar Rogers (He is really cool and I'm shock he is not in the top 36!), India Morrison (Loved the rap during the group stages)

Contestants I hope will be less dramatic: Nathaniel Marshall and everyone's "favorite" Tatiana Nicole Del Toro (I quite like her you know)

Okay ... site more or less completed. Might have a few minor changes here and there but layout should be the same.

Been eating too much ba kwa recently until have extra layers of fat and pimples popping. Will stop eating it from tomorrow onwards. Next Monday will be the start of my diet plan.

Took some pictures on Monday when I went to the Temple at Si Ma Lu. My father and I know that in the morning it will be very packed so we always go in the afternoon. But I think this year there were more people visiting the temple than ever man. Usually don't have to queue during the afternoon when I go there but this year must queue and must pay for our joss sticks also. If I remembered correctly I didn't have to pay for them last time?? We just donate money after praying.

FInally Completed all Labeling of Posts!

Oh my god, I actually did it!

I wanted to add labels only for my newer posts but after adding one I felt like making another then it went on and on and eventually I spent the whole day adding labels! I got to read through all my older posts and sort of got a recap of my life from 2005 to 2006 although it feels weird cause I did the opposite sequence meaning I started from the newer post to the oldest. Interesting to see things like knowing and going out with someone in the newer post and knowing how I got to know the person later ... the promises I broken in the newer posts and the time when I made it in the older posts .. the never ending dieting and exercising posts I have which I will continue to update by the way heh... and so on ...

Reading my olders posts made me realize other things too, like having much more Jackie pics in my posts than Kimi pics. Sorry Kimi will put more pics of you in the future. Thanks for accompanying me everyday at home sleeping on your comfortable bed. I also realized that I went out often last time which is quite different from me now. I have become more of a Zai Nan (person who stays at home often).

After reading all my older posts I will do a little more quick recap of changes since the last post. This is for those who read my blog last time and for new readers who have the patience and free time of reading through my older posts.

Changes to my life

1) Now sort of working for father and mother (home based :D) by helping them bridge the digital divide for their businesses.

2) I started smoking quite soon after my last post in 2006. Ooops

3) My dog Jackie has passed away but Kimi is still with me and I love her more than ever

4) I'm still studying (Part-time degree)

5) I have gained more than 10kgs since my last 2006 post. I met my old classmate and he was shocked.

6) Staying at home more than ever. (Which explains why I will definitely have the time to regularly update my blog.

7) Should be not as emo as before

8) Nope I no longer play Maple Story

After the Chinese new year food is gone will start a new dieting plan and will update the progress in the dieting and exercise section. Will explain my Mr. Wu diet plan details later.

I promise that I will update this blog regularly and for a long long time. Other than my life which older posts mostly featured, I think I will also add more interesting things I come across and other boliao stuff I can think off. Since I started blogging last week I feel more alive now heh, at least I got one more thing to do now during my free time (which its quite a lot). I also started using my phone's camera more often now heh.

Okay continue from Friday's post .... survey was fun, get to interview all sorts of people ..... the first person whom I surveyed was an old women, at first I was happy as I wasn't rejected but then she kept talking about alot of things and I ended up talking to her for around 20 mins I think or maybe even longer lol ... then got interview office lady chio bu who was frenly and sweet hehe then next is some man who talked super alot of stuff not related to my survey, I only ask him one simple question and he ended talking about revolutionising the bakery industry in Singapore :P ... at the end he only answered 3 questions and went off as his mother just arrived lol .... after the old woman and the guy who took alot of my time

I was afraid I couldn't complete my survey in time, but luckily I went to interview one secondary school girl who was also a surveyor and was pleasently surprised :) suddenly 5 of her frens came and I was able to give a mass surveying session, surveying 6 people at a time hehe lucky sial .... if not for them, I would not have completed my survey ... thank you sec school girls, you are so helpful although one of you a little bad, say that I seem short for a 23 yr old guy when they asked for my age :( .... but whatever la, used to it liao, can't change my height unless maybe I go China for leg extension lol ... anyway I was happy that I was able to complete the survey in time ... we all had a free cup of orange juice eachfor our efforts but I heard other groups could take as many breadtalk buns as they want.... so unfair!!

Now to Friday.... the test which was quite okay I think, I wrote alot about toilets which I think is my specialty since I go there often hehe ... after the test I helped Joyce deliver something to her friend Jacqueline ..... the star idol Jacqueline who was the cover girl of the recent maxim which my sis bought!!! Oh my god haha...Joyce had to rush to work so I volunteered to help her after being inspired by one of the Hardo Gay Videos I watched recently... since I was free and had nothing to do for a few hours might as well help her hehe ... after helping a little regret as the weather was hot and I sweated alot.... I hate sweating!!! Friday evening went to museum for excursion(like so sec school lol) ..... played some game which required us to answer questions about artifacts in the museum, I think I was one of the few enthu people and really wanted to win lol ...there was one room we had to go to for answers but they were having a wedding function there but being the ever so kiasu Jiahui, I asked some boy to come out and help me to answer but he too shy lol .... they all like very high class wear until so nice, then I was wearing some normal clothing and I felt like I was some low class guy talking to some high society people, got one old man stare at me somemore sial like I some poor kid asking for money lol(like some tv drama)... dunno when will know the results, hope my group will win ...

Yesterday I did some project work(have to hand in 3 individual journal on wed!!!) in the afternoon, helped mother make some posters for her mini cake stall and at night went to MOS with sis, abit last min decision, she suddenly ask me to go and and coincidentally got free entry via sms hehe... went there a little late and was surprised to see that there was no queue and we even got the free drinks that was meant for the first 300 people!! So free entry and drinks!!! Woooohuuuuu ....ordered a few more drinks and we got abit drunk lol, luckily got free transport home hehe, sis bf come and fetch us ... so that was officially the chepest clubbing session in my life, spent $15 altogether lol ...$15 includes cab fare there and 2 extra drinks weeeeee ... I have to admit something :P I smoked when I was there, it was the first time I smoked in more than a month maybe 2 months but I think its okay la since alot of people there smoke, then I'd rather be the one smoking then be a second hand smoker hehe and can keep me sober also, but I swear that I will only be a poser smoker and smoke only when I club (which doen't happen often nowadays).... to show my determination, I passed the remaining sticks to my sis bf already hehe.... really I won't start smoking regularly again promise :)

Notice that I never mention anything about maple hehe thats because I didn't have the time to play :( ... maybe after tests next next week then I can play regularly again, now a little busy with projects..... anyways I've got to end this super long post now, need to do some project work again :( ... After going out for the first 2 days, I went out for another 3 days haha.... seems like my plea for someone to ask me out works. Friday afternoon helped my sister make her food for her someone special...actually I didn't do much except being the food tester and fool around :P ....

After zombie we went to newton circus to eat the famous "Andy Lau" prawn noodles .... I think it tasted okay, like the soup. Finally went back home at around 5am I think heh....

Saturday, went to Caleb's house for fun lol.... "played" abit of soccer at ended up losing money lol... At first I won then I itchy hand go and play some more then at the end lost, sian..... it wasn't a good day for betting for the both of us heh... Okay its now 4plus am and I don't why I dun feel really tired, hmmm maybe I slept too much last week lol. Have to rest at home tom, must recharge energy and money hehe. But tuesday I'm going out again yay!! I won 2 tics to the preview screening to ice age 2 and an ice age 2 watch!!! Hehe I love Starhub, always making their competitions so easy to win :D

I Guess I have to stop now... maybe maple for awhile then go sleep, didn't manage to reach lvl 50 heh, hopefully by wednesday can. Should I paint my room??? Hmmmm

Ewww wat a shitty day .... I think I was wrong about the management of popular, I think they screwed up today. Actually yesterday they already have lots of last minutes changes and indeciveness but we were able to control our anger, but today was really bad man. Their management really showed that they don't plan things. After more carrying(super alot of boxes) and packing today and having blisters and cuts around my hands, they rushed us to do our work faster, but hellooooo we guys just carried freaking lots of boxes and we are tired ... the supervisors are just there taking out the books and stacking them and expect us to have the same energy left as them.... and you know what... at the end we finished our work so fast that we had nothing left to do lol .... so when you have nothing to do and you are not a boot licker, wat you do?

You slack heh... but when we slack they complain.... say we got nothing to do very eyesore then most of us were forced to leave the place early... suppose to end at 10 today but now I'm blogging at home while watching american idol lol ... only the chosen 8 get to work till 10 which means more money for them less money for me and more money for popular.... damn should have taken our own sweet time to finish the work.... this is so stupid, work fast but get paid less, then work fast for what... then another bad news was thrown to us... we should be working alternate days instead of consecutive days ... wat the hell! When we at the training the person in charge still ask us come everyday don't take off at all and now they do this??!?! Don't hire so many people if you think you don't need them.... if you need more people only for setting up, go hire temp staff for setting up, don't cheat our feelings by saying we will be working on consecutive days and tell us about the over 44 hours get extra pay shit when its now obvious that we might not be hitting the 44 hours mark....

Maybe they think the event will be unsuccessful and they need to cut cost but come on la, treat us with respect can? At least tell us in a nice manner or say sorry la, don't last minute tell us this shit and say that they choose the hardworking ones to work more...ermmm cause they are good at stacking books? Will they be better cashiers or sales assistants than the others? Maybe they are only good at stacking books like to do them and won't do a good job in cashiering? You ask bill gates go and carry boxes and stack books, will he do a good job? We applied for the job of cashiering, don't freaking base our ability of cashiering by the way we stack books can? I dunno if I will be chosen as the hardworking one but I believe I have done wat I am told to to the best of my abilities and I have no regrets(lol) ... but I really think its unfair to everyone working.... for those who might do a better job in what they applied for and are "voted out" based on other criterias ... its like joining American idol and when you are there they ask you to dance and if you not good at it they think you can't sing.

Now all of us have to be prepared to earn much lesser than we tot we are going to earn and the feeling really sucks.... everyone around me was complaining lor .... thanks management team of popular, you really made our morale super "high", now we really feel "happy" to work for you.... now its like evryone is on standby waiting for your call to go work and its even worse then army cause we don't have monthly pay but are paid hourly.....please go and make an organised schedule for us or you will be despised even further... I hope you send someone to attend some courses on how to manage employees cause I think what you are doing now kinda sucks.... You should learn from Robinsons and John little who treats their staff with respect and makes them feel happy working for them... everything is well planned and no one is angry... I wonder if they attended poly before? In my first semester I already learned how to manage people effectively lol .... okay enough complaining haha ... just for laughs(watching as i blogging) really my fav show makes me happy as usual .....

Must think of the bright side and enjoy my day .... at least i can watch american idol today and tom and champions league soccer later..... i shall end this by saying this.... do not judge others by their appearance... today while i was smoking after work, i saw a taxi man who got out of his car and it seemed that he couldn't walk properly he went to the toilet and came back to his taxi and smoked beside it... some may think he is bad and will not do a good job, but I took his taxi and enjoyed the ride... he was friendly, drove well and even offered(an offer which i pai sehly accepted :p ) to drive me all the way to my house when I told him that I realised that I didn't have enough cash(forgot about the $2 expo surcharge plus $1 peak hour charge :p ) with me..... my post today abit messy, hope you don't get a headache after reading.. I'm sick but I still must work hope I get to work for most of the days... although I don't think I would be happy working, just think about the money, get it and fuck off ..

Just cleansed my body of all the disgusting sweat and dirt... Today was a really tiring and dirty day... There was no aircon, it was stuffy and dusty and we had to move alot of things. First assignment the guys had to do was carry boxes filled with heavy books while the girls sit down one corner and chit chat, watching the hunks sweat like pigs, admiring our strength ... so unfair ahhhhh ... but carrying boxes was not the only stuff we had to do... we had to carry tables, stack books, clean rubbish and even staple the cloth to the tables which where for the books!! We all like multi skilled workers like that evrything also can do.

But after saying all these, I think I actually enjoyed the experience. The supervisor was quite nice, and for me that is important.. and I would be more than willing to do my assigned tasks hehe. If the attitude of the supervisor was bad, I would surely go mad ..lol oooops I rhymed again. I like stapling the cloth onto the table lol using the power stapler was fun =D .. like what my team mates say, like final destination and hence my nick name of the final destination man lol .... Got to noe quite alot of people today, although I don't remember their name lol... got one group from Singapore Poly and one group from my school. But during dinner time I sat alone in the middle of both their table hehe... hey all both are groups of friends who knew each other before this so better don't disturb them, feel a little extra. Oh ya I think I should have lost some weight too yay!!! Oh ya one thing I forgot to wrote last time when I went for training, the first guy I knew from this job was from SP and he knew my squash mate in TP lol ... I noe a little bo liao but it proves my thoery of "everyone is connected in friendster" haha .... Yesterday went to watch movie and cycle at east coast with emily the bee(new nick..dun pinch me hor) =D ... was late cause I didn't expect to take so long making the chawanmushi ... sorrie ah. Watched big momma's house 2 which was quite funny but i still prefer the pink panther hehe, but big momma also not bad la, around 3 and a half popcorn(out of 5). After movie took 31 to east coast and spent the longest time I had under the sun since my bmt days in the army. Cause we dropped quite far away from east coast park, we had to walk super far under the super duper hot sun to the bicycle shop.

Thank you bee for giving me the strength to walk so long under the sun, I wouldn't have made it without you :) .... felt really proud after completing the hot sun walk and was rewarded with a cool bicycle ride... by the time we started cycling, the weather was not so hot and the sea breeze was shiok :) thats why I like cycling in the beach. After cycling, we ate dinner at a coffee shop(i think) and i get to experience something very familiar.... bee was carefully taking out the tau gays(like so gay) and some other stuff in her laksa and carefully placing the noodles on the spoon to enjoy her meal, I think that is so me! lol ... her hand also shivers when she holds the spoon... same same hehe... she calls it the maple syndrome lol ..

After that i went to play pool with Alvin and got thrashed at 8 ball but won 9 ball :) but i lost the keep the ball cum tortoise match heh. Must enjoy myself before the start of 2 hellish weeks. Tuesday I will start my work and the first thing I have to do is set up the place, which I hate doing but no choice money rules lol. Must think of what I can do with the money and endure..

Been playing so much Maple story recently hehe ... So I was unable to update my blog... But since my life now is maple all the way, there nothing much to write about anyway haha. Maybe it can go like this - Monday to Sunday - Eat, Shit, Sleep, Maple....... Okay la its not that bad.. I do go out once in awhile, like watching The Myth(Jacky!) with Father, watching Goal(Newcastle!!!) with Alvin and watching The 40 year old virgin(nice nice) with my sis. Went out with Caleb too and also send Miss Tan to Australia(ERM not send her to Australia, err how to say.. Watch her go at the airport?) for her studies at 7am!! LOL

Oh ya I also bought a new fish called Rock Lee, pronounced as Rocko Lee, you can also call it broccoli hehe. Too lazy to upload pics of it here though hehe ... I do have pics to upload, and they are from ............................. ta da MAPLE STORY!!!! Who needs consoles with free online PC gaming haha, I sold my PS2 which I haven been touching because of this game :P

Hi guys! I'm not dead yet although I have thoughts about it ha ha. Staying alone in my lonely house for a few days has caused me to suffer from depression. Lucky Alvin saved me by asking me to play pool or not I will get worse I think... almost want to stay at home for the rest of my life. Even thought about writing some letter to my love ones to tell them about how I feel before I die... but I think no guts to kill myself lol... such a loser. Omg I sound like a depressed girl ...oh man, always feel like that when I'm having my school holidays and have nothing to do...tend to think too much...sian. I think there was once I actually stayed at home, not going out for a few months! Suddenly became afraid of the outside world, trying to escape reality by staying in my room the whole day everyday. Maybe thats why I don't like the sun now. Lucky there was NS and i was forced to go out or not I dunno what I would be now. I hate long holidays!!!

Anyway, I think I'm alright now... just have to keep myself occupied with some outings ... ermmm but not activities under the hot sun haha ...I hate the Sun!! Not things that require me to spend too much money also heh ... poor man here. Cycling at east coast in the evening would be fun, like wat I did on Sunday with Miss Dolphin Tan, Mingxiu and another guy whose name I forgot liao haha oops(only met him once cannot balme hor). Had a great time at the beach on Sunday....wasn't feeling sad this time at the beach, so I got to enjoy myself :D This might be my last outing with Miss Dolphin Tan though... soooo sad. I think she should be in Japan now and going to Australia after she comes back.

On Tuesday for squash, got some outsiders(aunties, 1 one chio bu and 1 uncle) came to TP to challenge us. I played with one of the aunties and lost... haha.. she super pro lor although I think I have some excuses for not posing a greater challenge haha..... I just ran 1.6km with one of my fellow squash member as we had nothing to do because others are playing, then right after we came back, I had to play with the auntie!!! Super tired lor, my hand numb liao hehe although I know she will still win me even I'm in my best condition, but at least I could have done better :( .... but okay la, I enojoyed myself during the match hehe when I get points that time I super happy hee.

After tuesday..was maple all the way till I get my depression lol.... but anyway I really feel okay now after writing(or typing?) this post, at least get to recall, the fun things I have been doing recently. Oh ya, last but not least, here are some pics of my time at World Marketing Group, the place I worked at as a telemarketer for 2 weeks. Enjoyed my time there... highlight of the job was the day I OT till 4am!!! Haha, they had to rush some things and we called our friends to help us finish. 6 of them came and we completed the work at 4!! Dun worry, they are all paid hehe. The pay department very goooood, I think its the first time I get my pay so fast. I got it on my last day of work, even before I finished work!!!

Wooooo huuuuu!!!! I'm finally back to normal after my 1 week anniversary with the weakening disease..... Went to bleach highlight my hair yesterday at my friend's(Caleb) friend school. As caleb's friend was rushing home, he could only cut hair for my friend and left the bleaching of my hair to his 2 school mates.... 2 pretty girls!!! So lucky man ah!! He he.. So there I was relaxing with some stupid cap with small little holes for them to pick out strands of hair to be bleached, by the time they took out all the hair the they wanted to bleach, I looked like some monster from a horror film LOL with little strands of hair sticking out... I think the aunty near me see already want to laugh. After bleaching, the prettier of the of the 2 pretty girls help me wash hair, lucky me again!! Amount spent bleaching my hair..... S$28!!! Super cheap man, my fren cut hair only 4.80 LOL... Even cheaper than barber!!!

Because it was chio bus who bleached my hair, naturally I would feel that my hair turned out great :p It felt that way yesterday, but today when I woke up, realise that actually the colour is not light enough...haiz, I think must bleach again, hopefully Master can help me bleach tom.

Had squash training today also.... Tiring man... First thing we had to do was run back and forth the court(total 72 times!!!!) within a time limit of 3 min!!! Of course the super fit me, didn't complete it in time :P in fact I was the last in my group hehe. The lousiest guy never come today, so I think I'm the lousiest liao, sian man...Hope he comes back on Thursday.

Today is my last day of work in whitesands....haiz will definitely miss the place, the people and the things I have to do. Although sometimes work can be quite tough, I still enjoy my time there. I believe if as long the people I work with are easy to get along with, I wont mind putting my 110% effort to accomplish the task I have been given. I think its my best temp job yet, hopefully I can get to work there again. My last meal I had in the pantry was the Unagi set from the food court. Ate with miss adeline tan who bought the same thing hehe. Last thing I had to do was to tie the boxed stroller for the customer(something which I hate and am lousy in), my tying technique super "pro", got special design one, lucky the customer never scold. Took some pictures using Joyce's phone, hopefully she is able to transfer the pics to someone who can transfer the pics to the computer and then transfer to me.

Something lucky happened today :D ..... My mother suddenly found out that she was given a $100 starhub voucher!!.....tomorr yay, can buy phone at cheaper price liao, save money. I think must be because on Sunday I donated money($25 okay) to a nun, who gave my a fozhu and a yi lu shun feng card...Power man get back four times the amount.... Last time I donated money to a monk then I won quite a lot in soccer..... I think hao ren really got hao pao man. I have always believe that and now even more...Will continue to be a good person throughout my life :D , but of course not expecting anything in return, anything I get will be a bonus :)

Tom will be back to being a full time student..Will be having a John Little gathering at Downtown east satay club, cant wait!!! yum yum ... satay my fav food!!!

Last friday i asked my mother when is mother's day then she told me it was last Sunday.... we both blur so i believed wat she said and took her out for dinner at the nice dumpling place..... later, found out monther's day is this week..... wah kao, but nevermind la at least i treat my mother liao, then maybe this week the price of the food will be damn ex.

Went for training yesterday at specialist centre...lucky the training exactly the same, so I and a few others became so "experts" or lao jiaos....go there to refresh memory only hehe. After training walked around taka for a little while all be myself :( went to buy a lemonade fr Aunty anns then walk to M1 and see my latest target.....Samsung D500.....ahhhhhh so many nice phones dunno wat to buy man. One thing I will definitely be getting is the Ipod shuffle, I think its worth it, ar 170 for 512mb not bad then the player itself very small and light also can bring ar everyday no matter where I go, maybe I will use it as a key chain. After my little walk took MRT back home....heard that MRT and bus fares gonnna increase soon, sian man, just increase then must increase again, last time increase service also never get better, if they air condition all the bus interchange and MRT stations then maybe I wun mind the increase, but its not up to us, WE THE PEOPLE OF SINGAPORE will just complain abit at first then eventually will end up paying more.........must ask father for extra pocket money liao :P hopefully this excuse works hehe...... Was standing and sleeping in the MRT for almost the whole trip, must be old liao body cannot take waking up early. I so sleepy until someone ask me for $2 donation I still blur blur give...is one old man so maybe give chance, suppose to give me the donation ticket but he ask if I dun one can or not, then no choice lo dun take ticket... The route fr MRT station to bus station damn dangerous, alot of pretty girls want to talk to me le, then must practice rejection skills hahhahaha.... but its those insurance or credit card people hehe :D
