I think I was wrong about the management of popular, I think they screwed up today. Actually yesterday they already have lots of last minutes changes and indeciveness but we were able to control our anger, but today was really bad man. Their management really showed that they don't plan things. After more carrying(super alot of boxes) and packing today and having blisters and cuts around my hands, they rushed us to do our work faster, but hellooooo we guys just carried freaking lots of boxes and we are tired ... the supervisors are just there taking out the books and stacking them and expect us to have the same energy left as them.... and you know what... at the end we finished our work so fast that we had nothing left to do lol .... so when you have nothing to do and you are not a boot licker, wat you do?

You slack heh... but when we slack they complain.... say we got nothing to do very eyesore then most of us were forced to leave the place early... suppose to end at 10 today but now I'm blogging at home while watching american idol lol ... only the chosen 8 get to work till 10 which means more money for them less money for me and more money for popular.... damn should have taken our own sweet time to finish the work.... this is so stupid, work fast but get paid less, then work fast for what... then another bad news was thrown to us... we should be working alternate days instead of consecutive days ... wat the hell! When we at the training the person in charge still ask us come everyday don't take off at all and now they do this??!?! Don't hire so many people if you think you don't need them.... if you need more people only for setting up, go hire temp staff for setting up, don't cheat our feelings by saying we will be working on consecutive days and tell us about the over 44 hours get extra pay shit when its now obvious that we might not be hitting the 44 hours mark....
Maybe they think the event will be unsuccessful and they need to cut cost but come on la, treat us with respect can? At least tell us in a nice manner or say sorry la, don't last minute tell us this shit and say that they choose the hardworking ones to work more...ermmm cause they are good at stacking books? Will they be better cashiers or sales assistants than the others? Maybe they are only good at stacking books like to do them and won't do a good job in cashiering? You ask bill gates go and carry boxes and stack books, will he do a good job? We applied for the job of cashiering, don't freaking base our ability of cashiering by the way we stack books can? I dunno if I will be chosen as the hardworking one but I believe I have done wat I am told to to the best of my abilities and I have no regrets(lol) ... but I really think its unfair to everyone working.... for those who might do a better job in what they applied for and are "voted out" based on other criterias ... its like joining American idol and when you are there they ask you to dance and if you not good at it they think you can't sing.
Now all of us have to be prepared to earn much lesser than we tot we are going to earn and the feeling really sucks.... everyone around me was complaining lor .... thanks management team of popular, you really made our morale super "high", now we really feel "happy" to work for you.... now its like evryone is on standby waiting for your call to go work and its even worse then army cause we don't have monthly pay but are paid hourly.....please go and make an organised schedule for us or you will be despised even further... I hope you send someone to attend some courses on how to manage employees cause I think what you are doing now kinda sucks.... In my first semester I already learned how to manage people effectively lol .... okay enough complaining haha ... just for laughs(watching as i blogging) really my fav show makes me happy as usual .....
Must think of the bright side and enjoy my day .... at least i can watch american idol today and tom and champions league soccer later..... i shall end this by saying this.... do not judge others by their appearance... today while i was smoking after work, i saw a taxi man who got out of his car and it seemed that he couldn't walk properly he went to the toilet and came back to his taxi and smoked beside it... some may think he is bad and will not do a good job, but I took his taxi and enjoyed the ride... he was friendly, drove well and even offered(an offer which i pai sehly accepted :p ) to drive me all the way to my house when I told him that I realised that I didn't have enough cash(forgot about the $2 expo surcharge plus $1 peak hour charge :p ) with me..... my post today abit messy, hope you don't get a headache after reading.. I'm sick but I still must work hope I get to work for most of the days... although I don't think I would be happy working, just think about the money, get it and fuck off ..
