American Idol Predictions: Who will be out in the top 4

I got it wrong last week. I'm shocked that Allison got out, American Idol seems less lively without her. Why Allison why??

Being handicapped without the iTunes Review Rankings made my predictions less accurate heh. Fortunately for me, this week the amount of ratings and reviews can be seen and hopefully the numbers reflect the positions (like most weeks) of the 3 musketeers left, which will make my predictions more accurate.

One think for sure, without any help for the iTunes Review Rankings, anyone can predict that Adam Lambert will be in the finals with another round of outstanding performances. Simon predicted that Adam Lambert will win American Idol on Oprah! I think he totally outclassed Danny Gokey and Kris Allen and most of the previous contestants of past seasons. His range is just amazing. Although I must say all 3 of them gave great performances.

Okay, without further ado, let us see last week's iTunes Review Rankings so that I can predict who will join Adam Lambert.

They changed the iTunes American Idol download page for the top 3 and I must say it looks very nice.

Adam's amount of ratings shows just how popular he is. These high numbers have been consistent throughout the season. As for Danny and Kris, they have been up and down almost every week. So despite Danny's horrible last note last week, he is still higher than Kris Allen. Maybe most of them are bad ratings ha ha. He has an average of only 3 stars. Duet wise Danny and Kris share the same numbers because they sang together (duh). I think Simon is worried that Adam's fans will get complacent and not vote as much so he reminded them to vote heh. This will surely ensure Adam's safety. As for the fate of Danny Gokey and Kris Allen, both gave great performances, but I guess I will just follow the the rankings and predict that .....

Kris Allen will go home (sorry girls again)

He is the best looking out of the 3 I know, but I think he is the weakest vocally. As what the judges say, this is a singing competition after all. I'm sure all 3 will go on to make their own albums though.

I predicted that he will go home last week and was wrong :( Maybe he will prove me wrong again but I will stick to my prediction. Let's see if I'm right later.

American Idol Predictions: Who will be out in the top 4

Yes I got it right again last week! Buuuuttttt ...... hmmm something weird has happened to the iTunes ratings and reviews. It has too little ratings that no amount is listed! It's either
1) Out of a sudden
2) Nobody in America likes all the contestants anymore
3) There are some technical problems on iTunes
4) They did it on purpose as they do not want to disclose the number of ratings and reviews because it is such an accurate indicator of who will be out!

Now that my most powerful tool is gone, I have to give my weekly prediction based on my gut feeling. Oh well, I guess I have to drink my can of Coca Cola to make me smarter. Gotta love those product placements in shows heh.

This week is rock week and I think Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta must be delighted. Adam was of course the best performer of the night (what a surprise ..) and Allison in my opinion is the second best of the night so I'm sure both of them will be save this week. The Adam and Allison duet was also very good. (I wonder why they added duet into the competition, are they following Taiwan's version of American Idol, "One Million Star" where they have duets every now and then. Maybe they will have duets with superstars in future season just like "One Million Star".)

I think Kara is in love with Adam. Last week she said something like she opens her mouth whenever Adam Lambert is infront of him (which reminded me of a recent south park episode featuring the Jonas Brothers heh), and this week, she wears the same jacket as Adam. I won't be surprised if she rushes to buy his album when it comes out in the future.

The other 2 contestants Danny Gokey and Kris Allen showed that rock isn't their thing today. Danny's final note/scream was like a girl screaming for help! Kris Allen didn't do much better, I thought his performance was quite boring. Their duet was quite nice though, although not as good as the Adam and Allision show.

I don't have the iTunes Reviews Ranking due to the reason stated above so I can't see who is the least popular last week :( Let me just put the iTunes Reviews Ranking of the week before (minus Matt Giraud) and see if its helps.

Adam was surprisingly in the bottom 2 last week (fake?), so I guess all his fans will be panicking and will call and sms till their fingers get blisters. His performance was amazing so that would help too. Allison would be safe too due to her performances and the image transfer of Adam to her after their duet. The 2 who are in danger are as stated before, Kris and Danny. If you look the rankings, Danny is last and should be out, but that ranking is the ranking 2 weeks ago and is quite outdated. Now that there is only four of them, Kris's voice seemed weak as compared to the other 3, and based on previous rankings where Kris has always been yo-yoing up and down. So I think it should be Kris Allen at the bottom instead of Danny.

American Idol Predictions: Who will be out in the top 5

Now that there are only 5 contestants left in the competition and all 5 of them performed well last night, it will be harrrrrrrd to predict anything base on the performance. So this week, I will just base my prediction solely on the iTunes Review Ranking. Simon predicted that Allison Iraheta might be in trouble tonight. Will he be right? Or will the iTunes Review Ranking be as spot on as last week (damn should have predicted base on that last week).

Adam Lambert must be feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeliiiinnnnggg good right now. He has been ranked number 1 in the iTunes REview Ranking for like forever! His has been consistently performing brilliantly every week which really justifies his top ranking every week. I have never seen any idol contestant perform so well every single week before. I've said before and I will say it again. He will win this season's American Idol for sure heh, the finals will be the easiest to predict. So it's a fight between the rest of the 4 contestants to join him in the finals. At the moment Kris Allen seems to be the favourite to join Adam Lambert in the finals.

One of the 4 potential runner-up to American Idol will be going home later tonight, and the contestant I predict will be Matt Giraud. This prediction is based on my usually reliable iTunes Review Ranking. Sorry Matt Giraud and fans.

American Idol: Wildcard Results

Great ... even when I guessed blindly I got 2 out of 3 correct! Actually it should be 2 out of 4 since they "decided" last minute that it would be the top 13 instead of the top 12. I thought they would choose the contestants based on their performance, but I think they went with who they liked. The performance was just for show. Although I like Jasmine Murray, I did not think she sang well but lucky for her she got through based on her personality and cuteness I think. Matt sang well and deserved the spot, when it was between him and Anoop, I was afraid he would be out but luckily they like Matt. Can't wait to hear him sing while playing the piano! I guess we will see more of Megan Joy Cockrey and her interesting dance too heh. I wonder whats the hype with Anoop, did not think he sang that well, I think it must have something to do with Slumdog Millionaire winning the Oscars. I thought Jesse Langseth would be a better pick to go through.

Tatiana performed great again but this time she switched to her irritating personality again which killed her chances of going through. Okay I admit, even I am getting irritated with her and am sort of relieved she is not through.

So now we have the top 13 instead of the top 12. Most of my favorites are still in the competition. Adam Lambert, Matt Giraud and Jasmine Murray do your best! I'm kind of sitting on the fence on Danny Gokey at the moment, have been influenced by the cynical people on some websites and forums saying how he makes use of his dead wife to gain votes. Didn't realize this till I read those stuff but I feel that it might be true. It might be unintentional, cause the death happened quite recently and he still misses her a lot. But if he shows or mentions her again in the top 13 without anyone asking, he will definitely be in my hate list. I'm going to add one person to my favorite and she is Allsion Iraheta. I don't know why, but these few days her performance last week has been playing in my head and I unintentionally start singing the song Alone lol. I'm so going to get an itunes gift card soon so that I can download their performance.

Next week, it will be though to predict since now I can only choose 1 out of 13. Its like horse racing, at first I could choose the placing (top 3) but now I can only choose the winning horse. The odds are definitely narrowed down here. Can't wait to see everyone perform next week!

Danny didn't sing that well today but i'm sure the hype surrounding him will ensure he goes through. Tatiana really surprised me.. I think she actually sang very well today .. I think with that performance she could change Tatiana haters to lovers. Alexis will get through cause the judges love her today and like it or not the judges do play a part in infuencing votes.

I wonder how many i will get right. Okay time to sleep man .. Its almost 6am! Zzzzz.

Too bad i can't add pictures with this app. Should i try another more expensive app?
