Deadliest Warrior: Yakuza vs Mafia

About the Show
All Deadliest Warrior Posts

In this week's Deadliest Warrior, We have the Yakuza versus the Mafia. I don't think warrior is a good term to describe either the Yakuza or the Mafia but its a great match up anyway. Its more even in term of weapons and strength and speed as compared to the previous fight like the pirate vs knight where the pirate has a gun? Now both sides have guns!! In this episode, they are going all gangster style with a 5 vs 5 match up instead of the traditional 1 on 1. Its logical I guess since, if its 1 on 1 it will just be like who gets to shoot first lol.

So will the winner be the Yakuza? The gang that has those scary and kinda cool looking full body tattoos and cut off their pinkies when they make a mistake.

Or will the winner be the Mafia. The people who inspired the Godfather films. The guys with who uses the cool Tommy Guns we play in games and the Molotov Cocktail!

Which set of weapons are better?
On the left corner, we have the Yakuza's Sten Machine Gun, Ceremic Grenade , Nunchakus, Walter P-38 and Sai.
On the right corner, we have the Mafia's Tommy Gun, Molotov Cocktail, Baseball Bat, Sawed-Off Shotgun and Ice PickIt sure is an exciting fight with all those weapons on show. To watch the fight and find out who won head over to Spike's Deadliest Warrior Website .

Deadliest Warrior: Ninja vs Spartan

About the Show
All Deadliest Warrior Posts

This week on deadliest warrior, we have the ninja versus the spartan. Who will win?

Will it be the ninja with his stealth, speed, agility, techniques and sneaky weapons?

Or will it be the spartan with his great strength, armor and that incredible offensive/defensive shield?

You have seen ninjas and Spartans in various movies, anime/cartoon and games. Will the ninjas be like Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden or Naruto? Or will they be like the little kids in the movie 3 Ninjas to the spartan? The spartans look really powerful in the movie 300. 300 of them killing hundred thousand persians! I wonder who will win if there is an episode with the spartan versus the persian? Ha ha. Ninjas should be better than the persians though.

To find out who won. Go to Spike's website.

Better watch it ASAP! The website only shows current episodes of the show so this episode will expire next Wednesday, to make way for The Pirate versus The Knight!! Will the pirate have a gun? That would be really unfair sia.

Who is the deadliest warrior? Samurai vs Viking

All Deadliest Warrior Posts

Ever wondered what will happen if your favorite warrior fight against another warrior from a different land and era? Apache vs Gladiator? Samurai vs Viking? Instead of arguing who is better than the other based on historical facts or challenging your friend to a round of Soulcalibur, you can watch Deadliest Warrior! It is a new tv series which started last week.

About the show

Each week on Deadliest Warrior, a new episode will pit two of the most feared warriors civilization has ever known against each other. Along with the use of 21st century science and the latest in CGI technology, each episode enlists warrior-specific world-class fighters and experts to provide insight into what makes these combatants tick, analyzing every facet of their unique skills of destruction, culminating in a head-to-head final fight between two legends of the battlefield that will produce the deadliest warrior.

The people in the show will analyze the weapons used by the warriors CSI/fight science style, testing the weapons on things like mock human bodies, and pigs and cows. The data will be then be inputted into a computer to simulate 1000 battles between the 2 warriors. A scene of an "actual" fight will then be shown. Besides your historical warriors, I noticed people with guns in the opening clip too? US marine versus Italian mafia anyone?

I have watched the first 2 episodes and really enjoyed both of them. Lots of thrash talking between the "experts" in the show, all fighting for their cause. No matter what the results are, there are sure to be unhappy supporters ... you can see lots of bitching at the website. You can join in the debate too if you like heh. The show can't please everyone right? Unless they make it a draw every match? Just relax and enjoy how the ancient weapons are used in the show.

Last week (first episode) we had the Apache versus the Gladiator. This week's episode is the battle between the Samurai and the Viking. Want to know who won? Check out spike's website to watch the entire episode for free! If you like the show, new episodes will be shown every week! Not sure if you can view past episodes though, from what I've seen, you can only watch the current episode, but I'm sure with some googling you will be able to find the previous episodes ;)
