I watch X-men Origins: Wolverine and buy BoA USA Album

On Wednesday, I went to do some shopping and watch a movie alone (ya I know, Loser with a big L) after helping my father (aka boss) find some floor plans at BCA. You know with my eye for detail trait, I usually find the drawings much faster than him heh.

For the past 6 months, I haven't been going out that much with friends due to some misunderstandings with my best friend Caleb and my shyness of going out with my previous poly friends (because of my weight gain). I do go out with my current classmates, but not very often. So I guess it was one of those rare going out opportunities for me. I'm pretty much like a Zai Nan (someone who stays at home all the time after work or school) nowadays as compared to previous, partying, shopping, playing pool days, fishing, drinking and talking cock with friends etc days. I have only been to a club twice after the stupid smoking rule change! Oh my god! I'm such a sad and lonely person now! Plus Newcastle United is doing so badly right now and they are in danger of being relegated. The past 1 year has not been kind to me ha ha.
Looking on the bright side, at least I get to talk to my parents more this past year, watching TV with them and sometimes going out with them like a mamas boy. It would be great if I can balance both things I guess. Going out with friends more often than now but not as often as before. Too much of something will never be good right? Yes, even having too much money can be a problem. You know like those Hong Kong dramas where the rich people have so many problems with people plotting to get their money or something heh. All I want is a relatively nice house, a CAR and most importantly a happy family living in it. If I can a have a family where everyone eats dinner and maybe watch TV together in the future that will be great! The bigger the better! Okay enough of cock talking and back to topic. Anyways, after finding the drawings and getting it photocopied by a cute photocopier girl, my father tong pang me to Tampines Mall (I love free rides!). I went to buy some 4D for my dad and bought some "Scratch It" cards from Singapore Pools. I bought $10 worth of "Scrath It" cards and won $9 lol, so overall I actually lost a dollar lol. I went to watch the movie "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" myself (boo hoo) at Golden Village Tampines Mall. Contrary to what others have been saying, I actually find that movie very nice. I love the cool opening of the movie and the awesome last fight. Sabretooth is much cooler than the dumb looking one on the previous X-Mens. I don't want to spoil it for those who have not watch it yet so I shan't describe those scenes. I've read that they changed the story and it is not based on the comics which angered the fanboys. It doesn't matter to the casual movie goer like me though, who has not been all that familiar with the X-men series. The only knowledge I have of X-Men is from the games I played on consoles and arcade like the old Capcom fighting games, X-men and Marvel versus Capcom, watching the cartoon once in awhile and obviously the previous 3 X-Men flicks (which I love).

In this movie, I also got to know many new characters and the cool powers they possess. For those planning to watch, remember to stay after the movie ends to watch not one but 2 hidden endings! If I'm not wrong almost all Marvel movies have secret endings so keep that in mind when you watch a movie by Marvel Comics in the future. I assure you that won't feel pai seh that you have waited for nothing. I always believed that there would be a secret ending and sat there till the end (together with a few others), I heard someone shouted yeah when it played lol. The last Marvel movies I watched, Iron Man and X-Men: The Last Stand, had secret endings or whatever you call it. Another movie I watched recently and liked a lot is Grand Torino. The story is really nice and touching (although quite racist) and I didn't expect that an old man (Clint Eastwood) can be so cool! Don't think it's still on in cinemas here though so I guess you would have to wait for the DVD to be released or HBO to show it.

After watching the Wolverine show, I went to do a little shopping and finally bought the new BoA's album! Actually it's a package which contains 2 albums! The first album contains her previous Japanese hits and the other is the one I really wanted, BoA's self titled debut USA album! Both Albums have a DVD each with MTVs and a dcumentry inside all for the price of $28 dollars! Good deal he he. I actually bought 2 of her English songs on iTunes before this so I actually paid around $30 in total. Support Asian artistes in the USA!!

I didn't listen to the best Japanese hits album much cause quite a lot of the songs I have heard before. Don't know why they never include songs like Amazing Kiss and Listen to my heart. I have not watched the DVDs yet (will do so soon). If you have not listened to BoA's songs before you might wanna listen to the Japanese hits album and watch her MTVs. You will love her dance moves! As for BoA's English album, "BoA" heh, I have been listening to it for the past few days while I am using the computer and when I'm bathing. Most (if not all) all of the songs are nice and makes you feel like dancing. Although her pronunciation of some of the words could be better (who am I to judge lol), you still can understand what she is singing. At least I understand her English songs more than those Japanese and Korean ones which I listen just for the catchy tunes! My favorites on this album so far are Energetic, Did Ya, Look's Who's Talking, Eat you Up, Hypnotic Dancefloor and Girls on Top (Okay half of the album). The songs are definitely more "American Friendly" than her old songs, but they are all still very nice! I also listen to English and Chinese songs too so I'm okay with the adaptation. Here are 3 of her MTVs from her debut English Album!

I love her dance! I think she is the best Singer/Dancer!!

Girls On Top Korean version (I think I prefer guys on top =P)

I did it for love featuring Sean Garrett (Formula for success in America - collaborate with a cool black dude)

I love you BoA! I have been listening to your songs since you were 14 years old! You are pretty. You can sing in Korean, Japanese and now English!! You can also dance so well. Wow, you are a very talented, hardworking and motivated individual.

Super respect!

P.S: BoA stands for Beat of Angel not Bank of America =) .... Bring on America!
