This season of American Idol is better than ever! I really enjoyed watching the talented singers sing their way through to the top 36. Although the usual really lousy singers who either were trying to be funny or really think they are good (oh my god!) are getting a little lame, the emotions captured when each contestant go through to the Hollywood rounds are further are priceless and always put a smile on my face and maybe a tear or two ... I really love seeing happy people especially those around me! Maybe that's what I love about American Idol, seeing normal people fulfilling their dreams. Don't think I have the same determination to chase my dreams as the contestants in the show so I might as well cheer for those who are trying so hard.With the new judge Kara, i I think things are going to get more interesting on the live shows, more girls mean more disagreements with Simon! I think she is normally nice but sometimes mean, especially towards bikini girl who I feel is actually a nice girl inside? I loved the moment when she kissed Ryan Seacrest and they played "I kissed a girl" in the background ... Hilarious!
So now that the top 36 are revealed who are your favorites? While you are thinking, let me reveal to you my current favorites (Based on what American Idol wants me to see). For those who have not gotten as much air time as the others maybe I will support them after hearing more of their singing in the coming rounds. Who knows, maybe there might be another "make your hair stand" performance coming out of nowhere by one of these contestants, like David Cooke's rendition of Billy Jean and Blake Lewis's You Give Love a Bad Name. Really hope there would be one or more inspiring performances.
Okay enough of my crap, here are my favorites so far (in alphabetical order):
Adam Lambert
During the group rounds I was really impressed when he hit the high notes. This guy has a great voice and is good looking too, I'm sure he will have many fans.Support him on facebook!

Despite the commotion during the group stages I still like her heh. She is blond, beautiful and have a good voice. Seems like she was in another Singing competition.

Contestants who did not make it which I will miss: Bikini girl =) , Jamar Rogers (He is really cool and I'm shock he is not in the top 36!), India Morrison (Loved the rap during the group stages)
Contestants I hope will be less dramatic: Nathaniel Marshall and everyone's "favorite" Tatiana Nicole Del Toro (I quite like her you know)
